Default Adjustable SVT STS question?

Looking at your site, I see you have both the Steeda Tri-ax/f and your new CFM adjustable STS. Both appear to have revised pivot points. Could you tell me, if the knob was set to be the same height on the adjustable as is on the Steeda, how does the throw compare? Is it still shorter, very similar or longer.

The CFM peice looks bomb-proof, I'm just wondering how it compares.

(Oh and I assume the FRPP shifter is just the Steeda in a different box?)

At the same height, our shifter will have a shorter throw than the Steeda. Yes, the FRPP shifter is the same. You will only buy a shifter once so go ahead and spend the extra money and get the best one out there. It will be some of the best money spent on your SVT. We have not had any customers regret spending the extra money!

How much lower than the steeda shifter can the CFM one go? I have racing seats and they have me sitting much lower, so I would like to bring the shifter down some as well....

Sorry for the threadjack, but I figured another STS question wouldn't be wrong for this thread. Thanks.

The CFM SVT shifter is 1" shorter than Steeda's SVT shifter.

The CFM '00-Apr02 shifter is 1.25" shorter than Steeda's '00-Apr02 shifter.
