or maybe theses guyshttp://www.ssitechnologies.com/

Ok new question. How much NA power are we looking at if you add your short block? Granted that kit so far adds to about $4,425 (i'd be using a diffent exaust) and the short block is $2,300. So for a whopping $6,725 not including gaskets and shipping costs you'd get how much NA power?

A shortblock is not required to do the 175fwhp that we did. If you are looking to have higher compression than what we did, a built short block would be the way to go. I am not sure how more hp will be made with increasing the compression to 11.5CR. It all depends on what you are trying to do.

If someone wants an all out NA car, I would recommend intake manifold with short runners, and individual throttle bodies, high compression 11.5CR+, high lift cams like the crower stage 4, cfm stage 3 head, all the bolt-ons, full race exhaust, and so on.

The car did 14.08 at 94 mph NA. This was with the MT 22x8x15 slicks. The car had full interior. full factory stereo, factory a/c, and factory air bags in place.

One thing we would of change out, which I am sure would make a difference is to put a cold air intake on the car. The car had a short ram intake, which will dyno very well, but not perform the best at the track since of the hot air it brings in, as the air filter is located in the engine bay.

A testament to true grip.

I did a 14.5 on a 2.0 60ft @ 95mph on DR's.

Knocked off a full half second w/ slicks. That's sick.

do you think with a new intake manifold, since the 2000 cant flow enough, you'll break into the 13s?

any dyno chart with RPM instead of mph?

My biggest problem with the zetec is that it never seems to have the pull to it that other motors have. Even when it turns in good number, it seems aenemic in the lower end. Odd for a motor with a longish stroke and not a high rever. My SPI turns in higher TQ numbers than a zetec. Im interested in what you have to offer in this package but I'd like more information. specifically a dyno in RPM as mentioned above. thanks!

Looks pretty good. I'm curious about the power and torque spikes at 65 mph and 79 mph though. The power curve looks like the engine is about to start whooping some ass right around 72 mph but then it falls on it's face at 79 and doesn't pick back up again until around 86 mph. Tuning issue? Intake resonance maybe? Would be really cool to see that dyno with HP and TQ curves over layed on the same graph along with wideband data. You don't happen to have this in Power vs RPM instead of wheel speed do you? Also that little 5-7 HP loss followed by the breakup right at peak HP is kinda interesting.

What's the status on this kit? The IM? I'm going to be so excited when we finally get a good intake manifold better than the 2000!

Curious about your drivetrain setup on this car. What clutch/flywheel, LSD, etc.

I've been considering doing an almost identical build, but I needa know exactly what I'm getting into in terms of cash spent. Just payed off my focus finally and got more money to do stupid stuff with. PM with a complete parts list would be amazing. And yet again, i gotta ask...any news on the manifold?

The car has CM stage 4 clutch with aluminum flywheel and Torsen T2 LSD. Sorry, no news on the intake manifold.
