CFM will be offering a 170HP+ capable NA package soon for the 2.0L zetec. Below is a dyno of our 2001 Ford Focus zx3 on 93 octane. Everything that has been done to this car is offered on our website. We recommend purchasing an AEM cold air intake or a good short ram intake like the AEM or K&N.
Max hp is at 6,500 rpms. Dyno stopped at 7,400 rpms. We are looking to offer our own custom intake manifold, as the 2000 intake manifold does not support enough flow after 6,500 rpms NA. ![]() Mods: CFM Stage 2 cylinder head milled .040 to give about 10.5:1 compression CFM cam gears Comp cams stage 3 2000 intake manifold CFM High performance oil pump - recommend when going over 7,200 rpms. CFM Underdrive pulleys CFM 65MM Throttle body CFM protoype short ram intake SVT exhaust conversion kit with CFM SVT off road pipe, Ford racing svt header, and Magnaflow exhaust for svt. 30lb injectors CFM Custom tuning with SCT Xcal2.

It already has one. We're working on an intake manifold that can handle the flow of the cylinder head and more aggressive camshafts to match.

Very impressive!!! Just goes to show......there are some really GREAT companies still producing good parts and services for our Zetec engines. CFM is "a"(not "the") leader in Focus performance. Well done to CFM!!! Keep up the good work!!!!

Great jobs guys.
IMHO I think you guys can change a few Things. 1-Using A CAI instead of Short ram. 2-Better Intake manifold for sure. 3-More Revs. 4-a 2.5" Exhaust. The Magnaflow is 2.25" which is smaller than SVT Exhaust. And Borla uses a 2.25" Muffler. so anything that 2.5" Across the band should help you a a lot. Now How about The SVT guys like us?????

You already have the compresion and exhaust with an SVT. It would be far more cost effective to just swap out the head and intake side and get a custom tune. I don't know that the ROI on a worked over SVT head and cams with VCT delete would be worth it. The SVT head, being better to startwith, would most likely just require less work to get were CFM's zetec head is and my not be any better when all is said and done.

The compression on SVT comes form the head and not the pistons. If you swap the head with the Zetec head the compression would be lower than the zetec. I don't want the VCT be deleted because most of my low end tq come from VCT and i make as much as you in low end because of it. If I remove the VCT the low end you cant use the intake Manifold of SVT on the Zetec head. I don't want to change the intake manifold my SVT to zetec because SVT has a lot better intake manifold. and they have the SVT head already and waiting for the valves. The SVT head is a lot better than Zetec head.

Damn yall got me by 15hp!!!!! My stage 2 comps make my engine bi-polar, very calm under 3500, sometime it want to start bucking if im haning too low in the rpms. anything over that is crazy. Is your intake manifold going to go in to production for the public?
