Default Lightweight pulleys for Zetec ???

I figured this might be the best place for this question (you guys have allot of stuff).

I've never found anything but a UDP and an oversized alt pulley for a Zetec (Duratecs can get other lightweight pulleys). Do you know if anybody supplies a lighter (not missized) pulley for the water pump and alternator? The idler and tensioner roll with plastic, so I'm sure no advantage there.

We offer one for the alternator: http://focus.c-f-m.com/index.asp?Pag...OD&ProdID=1322

Haven't seen one for the water pump.

Why didn't I see that before? Is it the same size as stock, just lighter materials?

^I answered the above question by looking on your site, I'll be getting one soon.

Just a couple of follw-up questions... I like the billet idler pully you have with the beefier bearing, but don't know how it compairs to stock as far as rolling weight. Can you tell me the weight difference, if any?

Any plans on offering a lighter weight, but stock size water pump pully? The whole idea of less turning mass is attractive to me, but I don't want to slow my water pump down any more than it already is with my UDP.

Thanks.

Our billet aluminum tensioner pulley is heavier than the factory plastic piece. The compromise in weight pays off with durability. I don't think the weight difference is worth worrying about unless you're worried about tenths of a horsepower.

No, we don't have any plans on offering a lighter factory size water pump pulley. There isn't enough demand...
