You asked me about these in a PM, my answer hasn't changed and you would have had the tools by now...

Call Steve at Tousley and ask for these part #s

TDC Timing bolt ( 303-507 )
Camshaft alignment plate ( 303-465 )

If you feel like calling your local dealer they can be found on the Rotunda Tool List...

Our timing bolt and aligment plate kit is $39.95. The same parts from Ford would be $30.00 more. We will have the installation instructions and part on the website later today. Sorry about the delay.

ok i didnt take the time to read all the replies so if your ?'s were answered then sorry for the repo...

the answer for the "m6" bolt and "plate" are....

when alinging the cam gears there is a special tool (you can rent at autozone) that hold the two cam shafts in sync while you tighten the belt up.....

it allows you to not mess up and it makes it easier....... i replaced cams in my friends neon.......and they say fords are hard to work on..... at least our cams are on the top not in the side........lol

The big problem with the FC design was the screws were coming loose, so we welded the screws in place on the ones we made to prevent this problem.

The FC had problems since the bolts holding in the trigger wheel came loose while the engine was rotating. If the bolts where welded in place, it would not of came loose and caused the damage it did to the engine and the pulley.

If someone installs a duratec crank pulley incorrectly by putting it in the wrong position, someone can damage their engine. The trigger wheel has to be in the correct postion for the engine to have the correct timing.

mmm ok so the welds will not scap up againt the egnor aything. ive seen pitues of tht before. but im down with welds. and the FC 's were installed right. car would stall sometimes. but why would it do that? sometimes felt like the engine was choking or soemthing. but the lil power was noticeable . and will they have tha same affect like taxing some of the power like for teh AC / radio or dim the lites a lil when at a complete stop. i did notice that. LIKE i said i am not knocking on ya product since i was a duratec pulley customer before and may want to add them again.
