Default New part request - Poly Exhaust Bushings?

Don't know if anyone has asked you guys for these yet, but what do you guys think about making some poly exhaust bushings? The stock rubber ones just aren't getting the job done anymore, and my exhaust clunks and rattles around towards the rear of my car something fierce. I have been only able to find a set from a company in the U.K. and they didn't have any in stock when I inquired about them. If you guys could make up a batch, I would buy a set in a heartbeat. Anyone else with me on this one?

Thanks, guys - you totally rock, and I can't wait to see what fun new stuff you guys bring to the Focus community next!

You guys wouldn't have to make them you could just import some of these as a distributor.

http://www.powerflex.co.uk/exhaust.asp

I would buy some to hold my 3 in exhaust.

I'd love to get a set of those. It would be one less clunk to have to worry about at the track ....

Holy crap. Just think of how hard it is to get the exhaust out of the stock hangers. Interesting idea.

what is the point of poly exhaust mounts? Don't you want the exhaust to be able to move so nothing cracks?

You want your exhaust to move a "bit". Problem is, at least with mine, that the thing can swing several inches thus banging the underbody.
Grab your tailpipe and try moving it side to side. You'll be amazed at the amount of movement allowed.

Why not just fill in the stockers with 3m urethane window adhesive? I did this with some motor mounts and I am happy with how stiff that stuff is when its dry. Still need to install them
