Default CFM Tubular Front Control Arms NOW AVAILABLE!

CFM Front Tubular Control Arms for '00-04 Ford Focus

Looking for faster lap times? Trying to lower your 60' at the dragstrip? Then it is time to replace your weak, stamped metal factory control arms with a set of our heavy duty tubular front control arms! Manufactured from 1" x .156" wall DOM carbon tubing, they are guaranteed to outperform the factory pieces under any situation. The heim joint is a high performance unit manufactured by QA1 and polyurethane bushings are used to help maintain proper suspension geometry at all times. Powder coated black for great looks and longetivity.

They serve the same purpose but that's where the similarities end. These are ours with a different design and much better quality.

Any plans to make them fit a '05? If you do I will buy them. My 2001 has 2005 knucles. Great stuff guys! Keep it up.

Sweet. Do you have the weight difference versus the stock ones?

They should fit '05 and maybe even '06-07 models but we're trying to find out for sure. The dealer lists the same control arm part number for '00-05 models.

As far as I know, 2005 knuckles are the same as in the '02-04 SVT... Seems the '06-07 knuckles are different where the strut mounts. Can anybody confirm?

There isn't a big weight difference. Maybe a couple of pounds. We prefer rigidity and strength over weight any day on such a critical part.

I can.

Ok, I think I've got it figured out... The SVT spindles are similar but not identical to the '05+ spindles. The '05+ spindles accept a larger diameter ball joint stud and the '06+ spindles accept a larger diameter strut.

No problem, we'll just have to make a different heim joint stud to work with the larger hole in the later spindles.

Thanks for the info Dfocusin!!!

Definitely, that is their intended purpose. Drag racing as well.

Copied from another post...

They make your car faster by maintaining proper wheel/tire and suspension geometry which improves consistency and reduces rolling resistance caused by deflection of factory control arms and rubber bushings. In drag racing this means better 60' times due to improved and more consistent contact of tire with ground, no wheel hopping and less tire resistance during acceleration. In autocross / road racing maintaining proper suspension geometry during cornering and braking means better control and greater consistency which yields better lap times.

Any chance you would offer these without bushings?
