Default attn vortec specialists

I have a vortec with the aftercooler on my car now. my car has head work done also.. my kit has the 10psi pully installed and it runs 7 psi all day long.. i want to up the boost maybe to a true 10 or maybe even 12.. with a vortech is that going to be safe with a stock bottom end and a good tune?
IF so do you guys have a 12 or 15 b pully?

I have the smaller pulley on mine and I get 9psi. Sometimes it's 7 but thats when my belt is staying tight and then I have to replace it. For some dumb reason the gatorback belts just don't last and when I put on anything else it squeals like crazy therefore i'm going to replace one of my idlers.

The stock engine will take it IF the tune is right. If we don't have it in stock we can order it from Vortech.

You'd be surprised! The centrifugal is more forgiving than a turbo. I was making close to 300 for several years with no problems on stock internals. Once again, the tune is critical.

Correct.

It's the torque and 'surge' of power from a turbo that stresses the internals enough to 'espolde'.

Now, that being said, I would go above 250whp/???wtq w/ a stock bottom end for peace of mind sake.
