Is there any benefit to running a cooler thermostat or does it make the other electronic's act funny if it thinks it is running cooler?? Like making it run richer when it is cold and as it warms up it leans out??

The colder thermostat will not cause any problems with the car. The full benefit of a colder thermostat would be seen by having an sct xcal2 flasher, so someone can can the fan settings on their car, so the fans can turn on sooner for the colder thermostat.
