The intake manifold has the spring, but it is rather expensive $289.52. Ford does not offer it by itself. I might be keeper to try to find that at a local salvage yard.

ok will this spring only be on the focus svt? Reason I ask is cause the local pick a parts only have a few focus and none out of what they have are svts so will like a zx3 or zx5 have this same spring behind the clip or is it svt type thing? He says Im welcome to come look but I would rather know the pull a part wrecking yard is 30 so miles lol thanks in advanced

The 2002 to 2004 Ford focus svt has the dual stage intake manifold, which is only found on the svtf. The standard zetec does not have that manifold.

oh man that pretty much sucks for me (. I dont have the cash to fork out for the new manifold for that clock spring. Im sure this is a complete stupid question but the lever wont work correctly if the clock spring is not there correct? Im just trying to figure out my options here ill be way very lucky if I find a svt at a wrecking yard around here.

Yes, it does need to have the spring in order for it work correctly.
