Default CFM Online Store POLL - WE NEED YOUR INPUT!

As you may have noticed, we recently updated our online store with the latest software which offers a handful of new features. We are still working on laying out all the categories correctly but finding your year/model specific parts should be much easier now than it was before.

We are currently working on search related settings and we are wondering what everyone's preference is so please vote accordingly.

Any input regarding other functions would also be greatly appreciated. If you had problems finding anything, something is out of place, gramatical error, problem with picture, wrong info, etc... please be sure to let us know so we can fix it.

Thanks in advance to all who take the time to participate!

CHOICES:

Option #1: I prefer as many results as possible when I do a product search, even if relevance on some items is low

Option #2: I prefer results to be as relevant as possible when I do a search, even if I have to do multiple searches with different keywords

NOTE: The poll will not allow more than 100 characters per option so I had to find a different way to do it.

Grand Master Mabel listens to Death Metal and flips you off.....but don't let that fool you. In reality she has a heart of gold but doesn't like people to know it. She'll bite your ear off if you disagree!

For people who are parts shopping either for an upgrade or to fix their beater, its easier to have it all out in front of you with clear descriptions so the buyer can make an educated decision on what to purchase. I voted option 1 and so long as the product description and platform application is right there, even the idiots can figure out what they need without having to call you. (pending they read)

Not real sure how it would work on your site, but I know anytime I do a search on Ebay and it comes up by relevance, I change it. It always throws a bunch of random stuff at me and its harder to find anything.

Creating a very effective search engine for a single website is very easy. I vote you take your time, set it up correctly. (The most important feature to enable for the search box is predictive text & spell checking) With those two features enabled, anyone, even someone who is clueless and can not spell, will be able to find the correct part, with ease. (Without all the bogus, unrelated items) Aside from that, you could make the search panel with two sections, most relevant, and extra items. So you could have the best of both worlds... ... Technology, isn't it wonderful...
