Default Quality Master Cylinder PLEASE!!!!!!!!

I just snapped mine AGAIN today! Someone REALLY needs to come up with a metal replacement. I REFUSE to replace this with another OEM POS master cylinder!!!!!!!!

I originally posted a similar thread in the HTP forum a while back but since it doesn't seem as though they are interested...........could CFM PLEASE look into making one of these.

Not sure how feasible this will be for us but I will look into it. You have any "after" pics to see how it is breaking?

Basicly, the plastic white push rod snapped off about 2" from the end.

I have heard that some have been able to use after market units, but there is modifications that need to be done.

..... 45,000 miles of which over half have been beating on the car and I have NEVER broken one. Same as dogbone mounts, axles, and basically anything else that other seem to be breaking, I have never had a problem with. Perhaps its time to think of a change in driving style.

yeah there was a big long thread on here about someone modding an aftermarket unit to fit. I would most definitely purchase a kit if one was made!

Well, I guess you should count your blessings because many have had this issue before. Maybe it's the stiff clutch that I have (Exedy Hyper Single Stg3) but I've seen others with different clutches have this same issue. Both times this snapped was in traffic so not sure how much I can change my driving style in traffic.
