What kind of quater mile ETs do you think a ZX3 with the backseats removed would get with a trap speed of 115.6 mph? With a good driver and a good amount of grip, but not wrinkle walls. I know its kind of a silly question, I'm just wondering. Thanks.

115mph w/ traction is easy low 12's, possibly high 11's.

I would think the back seats removed wouldn't make a huge difference, unless the upper parts are really really heavy...Maybe that plus the pass seat would be 100lbs or so?
Either way, the CFM focus there did 12.4 @ 114 on slicks so I would think if you had a good driver and good grip, even with the stock tires, you'd probably be 12.6, 12.7? I would think slower than the CFM car due to wheelspin but traction in 3rd and 4th would make up a bit of the difference, right?

^^^ good point but still more factors involved. Power to weight ratio, track surface, & track altitude. I'm thinking it could be the Tuner challenge car, or the white shop FS car. Can we have more info. Randy?

Somewhere on the 12's sec. It all depends on the 60 foot time.

All that I'll say is that is not from the STC car. I'm just wondering since I don't think the car was driven particularly well, the track sucked, and grip was a real issue.

The STC is not a ZX3 so I could only imagine it would be the white project car.

You could probably get an 11.9 with that trap and some traction.

115 is not going to go 11s without a real tire. On a drag radial, it should be able to be mid 12s with a competent driver.
