CFM Turbo Focus Goes 12.40 at 114mph - The Ford Focus Forum

We went to Orlando SpeedWorld Dragway Friday night. The car did 12.40 at 114mph,which was the first run with the new tune. Here is a video clip of our CFM Turbo focus 1/4 mile run. We expect the car will go quicker with more practice with the new setup. Keep an eye out for a quicker 1/4 mile time coming soon.

The 1/4 mile run was with slicks. The rest of the car information can be found by this link.

I thought the nitrous was on during this pass, but I found out it was not. I was wondering why I did not see the nitrous purge

. The car should be able to do high 11's with nitrous if it has enough traction.

Edit that vid to correlate the lack of N2O, it will look more impressive

very impressive, i noticed that he red lighted r/t was -.98, street tires are different than slicks, you cant really use the 3rd yellow light as the Go instinct.

BTW: the clutch kit combo that i got made a huge diff at the 1/4. i love it.

Suspension would help out the times a ton as well. I noticed a bunch of dip in the rear end, what is the current set up? Great run and grats, cant wait to see a video with the N02.

It has stock suspension.
