OBX Duratec header inside - Focaljet

I had a great experience with the obx header for the zetec. So I may have to pick this one up for the duratec. Only thing i'm wondering is if there gonna or if they do make one for the pzev...? I'm going to email them and see what happens. I mean stainless, comes with the flex, and a LIFETIME warranty. Why not! I know what a lot of people are gonna say go with the ones that know the focus the best blah blah blah. And then the bashing of obx products, but honestly their products are quality if you ask me. Don't get me wrong I love FS and F2 but too pricey for me. Btw I love the gold color the header turns when used.

wow a full day and noone comming in "aw bs those are junk, obx is junk , they don't do any testing blah blah blah. my $500 header from XXXXX is better even though its rusting thru the ceramic coating, and gets .00001 hp more."

Are you LOOKING for some of those posts?

If anything is going to get them started a nice baiting post such as yours might just do it.

For what it is worth, I don't think anything really needs to be said about the alternatives. There are plenty of people out there running with them that have posted their opinions. The info is there for anyone that wants to do the research and decide where to spend their money.

Awesome that there is a new alternative.

Personally, I'm amazed at OBX's transformation from a rice-parts wholesaler to a company that now seems to produce actual useful hardware.... differentials, headers, etc...

no not at all but it seems that they are the first things to pop up when this happens
i loved the obx header on my old zx3 it was wrapped and i had it glowing ALOT!!! it never cracked, broke a weld, or anything

From the few OBX pieces I have seen, I'd be willing to run their stuff on my car. My only issue is I just can't seem to find a sponsoring distributor.

Actually the price is really good. I have their clear sides for my focus and I love them. They look like stock sides without the amber color.

Correct the ONLY difference is that PZEV's have an air injection pump. The pump would be blowing air into your engine bay.

You'd have a CEL anyway from the cat being missing.

Just have your tuner disable air injection.

You wouldn't use the sensors. You would have to unplug them, and get a tune to turn them off.
