so i just did the CAI mod from blazingcopperzx3's site, which turned out quite well after getting the stock box off (major pain). but i'm in college in Williamsport PA right now and from what i've heard the snow gets quite heavy at times and i'm worried now about my air filter, if i could i'd like to do an SRI if i could move the MAF, though i had read before that moving the distance of the MAF from the intake can cause problems, can someone help me out as to whether or not its alright to move it

You can move it around some. However the wire is only so long so you will be limited on the spots you can put it.
I wouldn't worry too much about your CAI in the winter months. Just stay out of the big snow bangs and you won't have a problem.
