Has anyone used this method for doing small tune adjustments.
Is it reliable,is it easy to do.

LiveLink is the data logging software, it won't allow you to make adjustments. You can use the software in to evaluate data in order to determine what needs to be adjusted, but the actual changes need to be made with the controls on the flasher ( limited ) or by the person who does the programming.

Ta,for the quick reply.
Yes my tuner wants to make an adjustment to my tune,he says its done thru
an email,and i have to connect my handset to my PC with the usb cable.
Are there any pitfalls to this method,can i store the yet to be modified file on my PC,just in case i have a problem.
Could you tell me the procedure if you have the time.

Is he saying he wants you to data log it, send it to him and then he will make an adjustment and send it to you? Or is he saying he just has a new file to send you?

He wants to make an adjustment to my custom tune that was done on Friday,this is with the X3 handset.
He says that its done thru email,to my PC,then the data is uploaded onto the handset.
Is this how its done in the States.

Then just take the emailed file and load it into your flasher with the SCT LiveLoad program that comes on the CD with the flasher you bought. I do this all the time, it works well.

Your programmer can help you with this if needed.
