Default and so it begins....built motor going in!!

Well after long wait since Iv had the motor back from FS its finally going in.

I'll be working on the motor over the next month or so as my schedule permits me to.

Currently the FOCUS has 101,266 miles on it. Brings the total up to 83,266 +- miles on the Focus Sport Turbo Kit.

Installing List:

-Motor
-All new VF motor mounts
-New Turbo
-Wastegate 12-15psi
-Oil Cooler kit
-60lb injectors
-FS 2.5''SS Race Exhaust System
-H&R Coilover kit
-Cosworth IM

Here are some pics from today getting it out of its box...

Sweet. For my own education, why all the blue tape around the connections? To avoid dirt getting in, ya?

I also like to use blue tape as a reminder that "work needs to be done here".

He will be running it the way it sits from Garrett, internally. It's EXACTLY the same turbo he currently has, he is installing an engine where he can exaggerate the boost level and make some power w/o losing any of his powerband.

Well said Drew. Yup same turbo that came with the kit just brand new. Should be a rocking good time with it.

Haven't done anything last few days. Might work on it tonight/tomorrow. Slowly but its getting there.

That exact turbo with a built 2.3 Duratec engine will look close to this:

That is an unfinished dyno. One of these days Chris is gonna get back in touch with me so we can see how much more power is left in it.
