What happens if I remove the resonator/lunch box by the tail pipe?

I have done this on every Focus that I have owned. It sounds good and it really isn't that loud. After you do it you will be glad that you did! It is a cheap mod in my eyes!

Put a 2.75" tip and a 3" tip next to each other. The former wont even fit in the latter if it has a rolled edge. There is almost no discernible difference.

i know im bumping and re-bumping here.. but my imagination is running with this..

here's ANOTHER idea.. whack off the lunch box, straight pipe it, but also add a glass pack BEFORE the big resonator...

Keep in mind, this is a Zetec motor and not a Duratec, so the sound will differ slightly.

If you'd like to kind of hear how it sounds, here's another video of me driving the car. There's music over the sound of the car so you can't hear too much, but that's under heavy acceleration going up an incline with the windows rolled down.
