I recently purchased the Race exhaust, and will have it installed on my 2.3 sometime next week. Only other mod is a Cosworth CAI. I will post a video of how it sounds once I get it on so maybe it'll help you decide which option to go with.

If you are getting a header then Stealth is the way to go. Otherwise it will be really loud!! However if you are into that sort of thing then get the race one. I will be getting the race one soon, but I am not going to run a aftermarket header.

No you could still run the Stealth with the turbo. Just make sure you get the 2.5" kit

^^ Yeah, this is right. There is essentially no performance difference between the Race and Stealth exhausts. The Stealth version replaces the straight pipe with a straight glasspack. If you have an intake and/or header (especially header) the Stealth exhaust is plenty loud already, IMO.

Don't gut it. You'll actually slow the exhaust flow.
