Default Aftermarket alternator?

Anyone know of any aftermarket alternators that fit the '05 2.0DT? Mine is about shot, starts clicking and making all kinds of racket when I'm running accessories.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Are you sure it's not the belt tensioner? Maybe the extra load on the system causes the issue?

I just mentioned that the tensioners are a common issue from 03-05 on duratecs.

The sound I'm hearing seems to be coming straight from the alt., but maybe it is the tensioner, that's what I first thought it might be. I'm getting good charging voltage...

He has a problem with noise and you make mention of your charging system issues.

IMO your response was not helping this topic.

Usually the problem always mounts to some aftermarket systems. I've ran into it all the time when wiring for trailers and such, the aftermarket system already puts a nasty strain on the alternator wearing it out quickly and mix it with a trailer putting a more severe strain you get one nasty electrical failure. My best guess would be the Alternator is failing.
