Default P0183 Code

I keep getting a CEL and this code pops up. I recently put my car back to basically stock, besides a FSW cai and exhaust, and i had to connect the wires that were cut and spliced for the IAT sensor on the FSW turbo kit back up to where they were on the MAF sensor. why do i keep getting this code?

P0183 - Engine Fuel Temperature Sensor A Circuit High Input (EFT) The comprehensive component monitor (CCM) monitors the EFT sensor circuit to the PCM for high voltage. If voltage were to exceed a calibrated limit and a calibrated amount of time during testing, the test will fail. Open or short to PWR in harness.
Damaged EFT sensor.
Improper harness connection.
Damaged PCM.
Verify EFT-PID value to determine open or short.

found this one here.. but how do i figure out which one it is..

I have honestly never seen this code in a vehicle. If Im not mistaken the fuel temp sensor is integral to the fuel rail pressure sensor the first place I would look to would be the wiring harness. Is there any visible chafing or did you do any wire splicing during your engine build. If you cant find anything along that line then I would suspect the sensor itself. Might have got knocked when they were first removing the engine.

That basically means the engine is pissed at you for not having a turbo on it!

sorry I am no help but it had to be said.

so your original wasn't a pzev? You should ask Randy if that effects your vehicles performance, or just for emissions. Maybe he can help you out with getting rid of it.
