Does anyone have a video of there 2.0l dura with f2 header and exhaust? im looking at getting both and wondering how much hp it adds, and how it sounds.

whenever i get the head in and put on i'll be gettin a vid together and dyno numbers. I did a baseline couple weeks ago and pulled 121hp and 119tq (btw it's a 09 mtx). I'm puttin on the f2 intake, header and exhaust and got the xcal3 tuned by fswerks. we're hpin to hit 150hp after it all. the exhaust sounds pretty good by itself and should pick up a lil more with the header.

well im still waitin on the header they still haven't sent to me yet. kinda f'd up. other wise the exhaust is awesome, i'm hopin the intake performs better once i get the header on and do the tune. right now the car is in at ford gettin a couple things checked out that have been screwin up since the big rain storm we had a couple weeks ago. keep poppin a code (p0172, runnin rich) and my cruise isn't workin most of the time. i'm guessing i sucked in some water and damaged a sensor, but we'll see what ford says.

yeah I have the exhaust on already. I don't know for sure (don't know anyone that has an fs catback), but I'd say it's closer to the FS stealth as far as volume. it's fairly quiet although should get a bit louder when the header gets put on. I do like that it's a nice deep note, especially at low revs.

It will provide a power gain over stock. However it will be tough to get 30hp out of those 3 things.

yeah i'm hopin for a good add though. I'm just goin off what I was told from F2. said they've seen about 6hp from intake, 5-6hp from exhaust, and seen as high as 17hp from the header. and with the tune could add another 5-10hp. but we'll see once I get it all on and setup I'll take it back by the dyno and get the numbers

I would love to see some numbers and sound clips when you are done. If you can get 30-40hp then that is a good bang for your buck!

You should be able to yield those numbers if measured at the crank...

We have seen as much as 17whp when the headers were installed...

so you got 17hp from the header at the crank? I don't really plan on pulling the motor and testing it that way. I'm just putting the car on a dyno. I'd rather know the whp.

well i got the header today and put it on. went pretty well overall, just a couple little issues. one of my 02 sensors was crossthreaded from the factory and had to fix it to reuse it. also had to work pretty hard to get the flex to line up with the catback which took some effort.

def a noticable power gain, should be takin it to get dynoed monday mornin I hope. only thing I don't like about it is the exhaust note now. with just the catback had a nice low note throughout the powerband and fairly quiet. with the header has more of that civic buzz to it. loudest from 4k to around 5k.

So do you have the second in line still or did you remove it? because you might need a longer resonator to keep it quiet.....some cars do other don't...I do find the 2.0L to louder than the 2.3L...

Also I will email a picture for the intake so you can put the plug I sent you...

Has F2 fixed the flex pipe issue? I heard there were some issues with the flex pipe cracking. I've been thinking about getting a header so I'm still doing my research.

The flex issue was only a hand full of them and we have not had issues since the last 30 that have sold....so I would say it was addressed....

yeah i just noticed the flex is very stiff right now and didn't line up very well with the catback (sat almost 1/2 inch lower than exhaust).

and the exhaust I got only came with one setup. got the straight pipe, mid pipe with resonator and muffler in it, rear pipe, and tip. so i don't really have any options for changing anything. I did manage to tweak the exhaust last night so it doesn't seem to be hitting and rattling on the rear subframe anymore.
