Default Mazda3 Rear Wiper: Euro Alternative

this mod is for adding a Mazda3 Rear Wiper to your HATCH Focus.

Mazda Part Numbers
BP4K-67-421 : Wiper Arm : $34.10
BR4M-67-330A : Blade : $22.95
BP4M-67-395A : Wiper Cover : $5.25

The install is very simple, there is one bolt (12mm or 13mm) and you take it off, and directly fit the mazda 3 rear wiper on.

Here are some pictures:

I don't have the photos anymore, someone who has this done please post pictures and I will add them!

THIS MOD WILL NOT WORK ON A WAGON, the glass is too different..
If you do not feel like paying through the nose for a Euro Wiper, you can usually find these parts for under $60.. good luck and happy modding!

~Lorne

ps. another wiper that can work on our rear glass is the rear wiper from a Nissan Quest.. dont ask me for the part numbers tho =/

FYI: For the Mazda 3, the Wiper Arm includes the Wiper Cover (save a whopping $5)

That's the way that mine came, only the Mazda parts guy failed to tell me that, I got 2 of the covers. Oh well, glad it's not expensive.

Ok got my wiper from mazda finlly. Tried to put it on last night but after taking the nut off couldn't get the damn wiper to come off. Is there something else holding it in place. Tried pulling it off but didn't want to pull to hard cause it's through the rear window so i was afraid i'd crack the window or something.

mine was tough to get off too.

take something outside to pry it off. perferrably plastic so you dont scratch the window. but it should come off.

I had to lift really hard, the rear of the car lifted

BP4K-67-421 : Wiper Arm
BR4M-67-330A : Blade
BP4M-67-395A : Wiper Cover

Those are the part numbers I used when I got my wiper arm in March 05.

Wouldn' it just be cheaper to get a replacement blade from an auto parts store rather than the dealer?

No because it won't fit and it won't flow with the arm like the one from the dealer does. Trust me, I tried.
