Try these guys; www.tunershop.com They are a Rieger distributor. I used to get some stuff for my old VW's from them.

HAHA dont let him see that!

mostly its due to tax. He does his own importing, so you wont pay for customs, and shipping is sometimes really cheap if he can get more than one thing to fit in one large box, instead of 12 little boxes.

I got my F2 RS CF Wing for $410CAD total, free shipping

Yep customs and shipping are pricey on the other site, but let's not make this thread into a flame on him and his business

I agree that it will be more expensive from overseas but I was just trying to provide another option.. Mitch could probably help you out for alot less and maybe even faster..

Did you check qcoffey's link he provided? He seemed to have great customer service from them in the past, maybe they could hook you up too

probably not faster, since the shipping would be the same from euro to his doorstep, then him importing it and shipping it to you would take longer.

but yes, longer shipping vs saving $100-200, what do you choose?

Acualy, just to clear things up.
I full lip kit like that is not going to cost as much as you think. It will be shipped airmail, you pick it up from customs and "walk it through" customs yourself. Total shipping time is about 3 days.
Just to compare. I had my 2002 bumper and all the gooodies shipped out from him. Shipping costed about 130 euros and took 3 days to arrive at the airport. I went up there and claimed it myself and did the customs thing. An hour later and $38 bucks for customs I was on my way.
International shipping is easier than everone thinks it is.

Well I was there at the terminal waiting when it arrived. Then the porter gave me the paper work. Then I drove a mile away (DFW Airport is HUGE) to customs did the dilly then drove back and picked the stuff up. You really just "walk" the paperwork through.

If it's sent through a courier like FedEx or DHL from Europe, they'll take care of the customs paperwork for you. I paid about $35 for customs charges for my rear apron and other miscellaneous items from Germany. Shipping was 129 EUR.

Generally if you order a bunch of items together, it comes out cheaper than ordering it from stateside. I priced out my Rieger bumper from the forbidden site and compared it to retailers here, and even after customs charges it came out cheaper.

My stuff was just too big for DHL to deliver.

i dont know about people getting screwed on ebay, but I myself have done business with him several times and nothing less than amazingly happy with every part of the transaction. He actually brought a set of tails over one time when he came fx03 and sold them to me there for alot less than they should have cost. My only point is that he is banned for certain reasons, and they may be good. But not everybody has had a bad time with him. Everything I have bought from that site has been delivered to my house in a very timely manner for international shipping. But I have also done business with zx3tuning and Mitch was also a very good person to deal with. Either way I dont think you will be disappointed.
