Just a question because I'm looking to add Euro headlights to my car.

Are there any serious differences between the Inpro ST170's and the 'ordered from Europe' ST170's? Or is Inpro just 'OEM look-a-like' the way TYC stuff is?

I dont know how to answer that, but,

In.Pro makes OEM lights for other companies iirc. these lights are essentially ford parts, just without a ford logo

^^
The Ford St170s are top notch quality can't get much better. The In.Pro's are little plastic capsules of halogen based viagra (the Style of the St170s but gloss black surround is killer). Lumen output and distribution should be exactly the same.

Biggest visual-out-of-the-box difference is one is grey one is black. Long term it seems folks have had a LITTLE bit better luck with the ST170s in regards to durability/fading/leaking.

Your analogy hit the nail on the head though.

Edit: Wanted to change a few words...

Def don't get me wrong In.Pro is one hell of a company with a great reputation IMHO and great products. In the aftermarket game they've got a great reputation it seems. Most of the product leaving their facility never seem to have an issue. (look at some of the forums for the german boys)

One of mine do as well. I tried to seal it better, and it still does it. It only does it when I wash the car, and alittle bit after rain.

The picture you have posted of "Matrix" headlights are not cheapo ebay matrix......that was W8 (Dan's) car, and those are Morette's. You can clearly see the low beam projectors there......

Just thought it should be mentioned, now that I read back through the original list, two of the Euro entries should be edited just a smidge.

Euro Spec '98
Standard halogen output with one halogen reflector (Dual filament bulb); this model has either a black, or chrome surround with a small city light under the bulbs. Turn signal is in the front bumper, not in the grille like US versions

Euro Spec RS
Similar to the 2002/ST170 style. Two halogen reflectors. 2 seperate bulbs. Chrome surround w/ chrome 'blank' fitted to delete the turn signal. Turn signal located in front bumper. Also includes a city light.

Just thought I'd pass those along
