Default Everything Head lights
ALL Ford Focus Models share the same style headlights between 00-04.

Many of the Focaljet sponsors offer these style headlights or can help you get them. PLEASE contact them first.
To run your high beam and low beam at the same time your style headlight MUST have two differnt reflector housings. If you do the high/low mod on dual fillament headlights, you will cause to much heat inevitably melting things.

Stock 00-02.5
Standard halogen output with one halogen reflector (dual filament bulb); chrome surround.

Stock 03&04
Standard Halogen output with one halogen reflector (dual filament bulb); this model has a grey "smoked" surround.

Euro Spec '98

Mach/SVT/EAP/Euro Spec ST170 upgrade
Chrome Surround. One halogen high beam, One HID projector, One turn signal clear lense one city light. These headlights are often cracked open and painted black by buyers.

K&S
Black or chrome surround with ribs in the fender-ward corners. "Ion" style projectors have a blue tint to them. Otherwise the projector is clear. The projector (outward housing) should be your low beam. High beam reflector is fixed and low beam projector is adjustable. These lamps also have the infamous halos.
NOTE: Most of these lamps come with the wires reversed. Pop off the back rubber covers and swap the wires if this is the case with yours. The wires attach with connectors so the task is pretty simple.

Matrix
Paintable headlights. Two halogen reflectors. Often found on Ebay and claimed as projectors.
Note: These to be driveable in my experience with them need to be beefed up a bit.


FK
Black or chrome headlights. One projector housing one halogen reflector. LED turn signal toward inside upper corner. These lamps have the infamous Halos.

Thanks to focusonfocus for getting me thinking and Jason (Ataru) for assembling that gallery in the first place.
It's been a really long time since I have brushed up on my FJ knowledge but trial by fire. Anyone who has anything please jump on in!!! I am working on some Kelvin/Lumen/Light Defraction charts as well.

And 03-04 regular foci have grey housing like you said...
But SVT is black housing...not grey

Thats the hood I think. Notice the projector in the outter beam housing. The ebay replicas only have halogen pattern reflectors.
Regardless I removed it because I think you def could be right. I do think however they are customized with hella lenses or something, way to hard to tell. Thanks man.

like 4 years ago, there was only halogen reflector, then about 2 years ago, same style but projector came out.

anyway, only way to find out ebay replica or not is to see the mounting bracket under the hood..

oh and you could add hella quad style, and morette quad style too..and also bmw style headlight over euro market
