YaY mine got here today..... after waiting for Ever

they look a lot like the old style not like the pic (and thats the pic they were using to sell them)
they have amber bulbs for turn signals where our reverse lights are.
I wonder if Ill be able to get them to hook "euro style"Ill start a new thread with pics...

any one got tips on the install?

the more I thought about it the more I wanted to leave bad feed back(because of the misleading photoand the price vs. speed of shipping), so I Did

no, they can say 'NEW' all they want as long as they use the right info and picture (which your seller DID not). There is no constantly changing standard of "new"


It's up to the consumer to determine what is new.

No one as in any Company or no one as in a focus owner doing a one off custom?




The above are made/sold by FK Automotive in Germany, not sure if the backup light is LED but the rest of it is. They sell for 199 eur on FK's online shop.

The below are a different take, again an FK product, similar to the tails that started this thread two years ago they are selling for 214 eur.


They also have a number of other funky rears but I am not sure if they are for the hatch or not the description has "Typ" in it which I am going to assume means something like type and then is followed by a string of acronyms that contain W again I am assuming that the W may stand for Wagon or the equivalent there of since the shape is a bit different then the Hatch tails above. These are all Tails made for the European cars so you would need to be careful to make sure they would fit before purchasing. The slice of watermelon below sells for 209 eur a pair and I am sure you may be able to find them a bit cheaper on some European web site or Ebay but beware shipping is a killer if you plan on purchasing some expensive tails. A couple of months ago the Euro was worth $1.50 american so a set of 200 Eur tails would cost ya around 300.00 american and probably an additional 50.00-100.00 shipping. All of there tails come in at least two color schemes if not three.


I have been tempted by the ones Deadlydean has but with an Infra Red car I didn't want to chance shelling out a couple hundred bucks and have them look out of place against the Red. They are nice tails and I have seen them called either "Lexus style" or "techno" depending on the manufacture/reseller.

the first ones are the same exact tails i have except mine are clear and painted black. the reverse/turn signal is not LED. the lights come with adaptors for euro and us spec foci. the adaptor allows the turn indicator to seperate and go to the reverse. im not sure if its just the lights i got from www.jdmautolights.com have them or not.

They do look alike, FK does not offer the color combination on your car they have the solid Red or the Clear/Red, I have found sites that do offer lights similar to the ones on JDM, heck one of the places I may have seen them was probably JDM

I've had the black and red ones on the Kona at separate times. There are some locals here with the chrome and smoked versions too. They look so much better than stock IMO but I'm not a huge fan of them because I noticed premature fading/fogging almost instantly inside the lenses which appears to be the case with every lense . The red version will get it the worst. Anyway which leads to me why I was inquiring about the other brands and what they looked like installed.

The install is pretty easy:

Remove the two bolts




Unplug the two sockets and remove the light


I'm color blind but connect the appropriate wires
