Has anyone tried taking the centercaps apart to do that? I could do it in vinyl like my winter wheels, but it's just not as nice as the stockers.

Honestly, I would go to a vinyl shop and hav them just print out a red "SVT" logo to go over each silver logo on your caps. Should cost no more than $20 I bet.

Sean at iZoom Graphics has done some SVT logos for me so he already has it ready to print.

The problem with that is the SVT center caps are 3-dimensional... they look so much nicer. It's like a badge set under acrylic.

I had kuhmo MX's....went through 4 sets of those in 2 years because normal road conditions would tear up the sidewall. Got BG Goodrich GSport now because locally I get road hazard protection that tirerack didn't offer for hawaii.

It's been 3 years since I had my stock SVT wheels. I didn't remember the detail in them.

Too bad you don't live closer, I'd cut you custom SVT's for the center caps...

Hard to see, but since Rattles was'nt a SVT, I covered the SVT badges with custom Ford Racing ones. Looked like the silver ones, only with a black background...

i was thinking of trying this with a paint marker, and color the whole lip. and if it gets scratched off or whatever, paint marker to the rescue!

well, you can remove it and backtrack if you wrinkle it or not have it straight! I thought it was very pliable until you took a heat gun to it to make it stick forever.

I always follow the webxtremes method, lots and lots of soapy water!

Removing it will stretch it out... it's pretty sticky stuff when you don't use water. Just be really patient, and you'll get it. I spent about a half hour on each wheel. I'm going outside to put the wheels on now.
