Im not even sure this will fit but anyways, do they have any issues with water ?? or anything else in the road ??
I just want some info from focus owners.
Thanks for the help.
Pics of the headlights.

Thanks
Vega

Hello, I got my hands on this set of hella headlights, i own a zx2 but i thought this could be a very interesting small proyect to adapt them to my cars headlights housing and remove the clear plastic.

If they're real Hellas (And from the pics it looks like they are, not the cheap eBay knockoffs) -- then no. You have nothing to worry about when it comes to leaks or water.
Depending on how old they are, and based on the fact that you're going to be doing some heavy modification to fit them in your ZX2, I'd recommend keeping a close eye on seams and when you're done, give any seams or gaps a good once-over with some silicone sealant.

Ok cool, thanks for the reply, and yes they are new real hella, well atleast thats what its said on the box and in front of the lenses, lol.
Im more concern about like rocks and stuff like that, i really dont want to all the work and end up with cracked lenses. Im still thinking if i should do it or not. Thanks so much vega

The lenses can crack. If I recall correctly, they are glass. A layer of LaminX or other stone guard clear material can help reduce cracking, but there's no real way to prevent it during daily driving.

i think it could look really cool to do something to mod them to put em on ur zx2. and focus sport sells the lamin-x for a pretty good price that you can put over then lenses to help protect them a little more. good luck, and make sure you keep us updated on how it turns out

It still has an image, so no, not okay
Gotta remove that. And x2 on the lamin-x. Go to lamin-x.com and get a set of clear films to go over the lenses, and it will protect them from cracks and scratches.

Ive had euro-spec hellas on my car for 3 years now...No problems with the lenses getting cracked or anything, they do get pitted though.
