Default Optimal Clarity.

I swapped out my E-Bay headlights because I found condensation and a collection of water resting in the back. I took them out to find a crack (about 3") on the housing. I also painted the inside of my stockers, which the clear housing is oxidized, and scratched up (don't know if the OO used sandpaper or some vandal did it) but its impossible to remove. Question is, where can I get a new set of clear housings? I would hate to buy a new set of headlights.

Why not just refinish the lenses? Just wet sand them down with 600, 800, 1000, 2000, then use a buffer with Mequire's Plastic-X polish. I did mine and they look brand new.
When you sand, use long straight strokes and go all the way from on corner to the other only in one direction, always th same with each finer grit paper. On the polish, dont push down on the buffer, just use its weight and slowly move it front to back overlapping passes across the lens, then the same pattern going perpendicular to the last, then two more in the diagonals. Go slow and cover it all, this will really make them shine.
Wipe off with a rag and its done. Maybe $15 and about 30 minutes.
