Default Fog lights

I did a search but I could not find what I wanted. A couple of weeks ago I noticed that my passenger side fog light is compleatly busted thanks to the awesome road work in my town. So I want to replace them and I am thinking that I want to go with some yellow ones. Where would be the best place to get them? I looked on Ebay and I only found one pair and they are now gone. Suggestions? Thoughts? Its an 02 SVT.

I'd get in touch with FORDSVTPARTS on this forum. You'll be able to get a great deal on a new clear one from Ford.

The easiest way to get yellow is then ordering a set of LaminX film guard for the fog lights themselves. They just stick right onto the glass lens, and they offer some protection against stones and other debris that pelt them.

or try to contact the company who was selling the yellow fogs on ebay and see if they have any more. my brother just got some tinted svt fogs off ebay, and they work great and were a great price

I know a few people used stain glass paint, and painted their own fog lamp lenses. I busted the lens on my 07 2 weeks ago, picked up the assy' today, and deciding on yellow lenses, or yellow bulbs... I am leaning towards yellow bulbs (piaa plasma yellow), allowing me to go back to white light in the future.

Yeah take some pics. I would like to see how that turned out. I am sure that I will just get a clear replacement one.

FYI, the stained glass paint is:

KRYLON Paper Finishes Stained Glass Sheer Color paint. UPC code #2450400198. Net Wt. 3 oz/85 g

Works like a charm if you're willing to take the time to wet sand your clear lens with very fine grit sandpaper, spray, dry, sand, spray, dry, sand... and keep going until desired color density is reached.

Available online but you must search hard for it. Couldn't find it in any craft store locally or paint store except by the case. The store I used (forget the name) online shipped from Texas, I recall.

If you want yelllow go with PIAA Ion bulbs...Keep the lens clear better light output and the bulbs produce a true useable yellow light

Those looks pretty sweet. But for now I think that I am just going to get the stock replacement and then some yellow bulbs. I am going to need a new clutch soon so I need to take care of that before anything else.

I understand that $$ is imporant. Being that the factory lights w/o hid are OK...I can't see replacing them with Walmart quality lighting. The PIAA bulbs would be more then the whole Walmart set-up. I say save your hard earned$$ by a used ford OEM for your model put exc bulbs in them and roll with quality

I agree with everybody! (I'm a happy drunk). They DO look sweet, but a also wouldn't put anything from WalMart on my car for quality/functional reasons. How do they work compared to stock? I'd be more inclined to follow member "davlafont", and adapt Hella 90 mm jobbies in your holes (that didn't sound quite right...). I'm waitin' to see how that turns out, and then maybe try it myself.

they are 55W and they work pretty nice - match up nicely with the stock HID's.

looks like i could light up a runway.
