Default Installing Rear Euro Whiper problem?!

Hey i have recently bought me a Rear Euro whiper to fit on my "zx5" euro focus, but discovered that the original whiper hole that fits over the screw coming out og the window have a (excuse my bad english ) but a tracked inside that fits on the same track on the nut in the window, but the new one is smooth inside and wouldnt go all the way in, i tryed to screw as hard as i could (haha you know what i mean right ) but there is still a gap between the windshield and the whiper :S is it suposed to be like that? or do i just have to screw harder?

Hmm, yeah. That don't look right.

I have not ran my true Ford euro wiper in awhile, but I don't remember that gap. I'm using a Vw wiper right now.

And on my wagon, there is no gap, altough thats a whole different beast.

I'll check my rear wiper when I get home and check it. I'll even check my wiper I got from Sascha, its just sitting on the shelf.

Anyone know the length of the mazda 3 rear whiper compared to the Euro covered rear whiper?

Cause i think the euro rear whiper is a little to short, and it wont fit right, as i stated above

Forget it, problem solved, the thing is that the black rubber tube that you can se stick out and surround the rod i accedently pushed inwards when i took of the old whiper

So i just pulled it out again and problem solved

Not to be a smart a** but why do you ask people in the US about euro cars.. Go here for Euro and UK focus info http://bbs.rsownersclub.co.uk/register join they are a euro form... good luck. I used an Edge rear wiper arm and blade that Igot from Steve here at this site. I know they have Edges in the Euro/UK market...I saw one there last month.

Yea, I was going to originally say something about 02 and the whole "safe word" comment, but for some reason that song just came into my head out of no where
