to make it funtional you just would have to cut open a hole in your hood and cut out the black panel inside of the scoop.. shouldnt be too difficult..

I was skeptical, but unlike most added on "hood scoops" yours looks real nice. I think it's because you placed it farther back on the hood then most do. I also have to agree with the others that some black projectors or blacking out the inside of the stock headlights would look great on your car and match the theme perfectly. Keep up the great work!

looks pretty mean, man. I know it's not too noticeable but it seems to really stand out to me. Maybe paint the windshield fluid squirter things red?

Thanks for the info on the corner lights.
Any full shots of the car? (haha, just noticed the plate). -Matt

thanks everybody.. i think ill keep the windshield washer things black.. they arent too bad.. and it goes along with the red/black theme.. and ill think about the headlights
![]() ^ check out my cardomain site... i have much more there ![]() i placed it where it did because theres where it looked best in my opinion.. it also its the best place if i do make it functional because it is at the back of the hood, over the turbo.. there also is a slight crease on the foci hoods at the back inch.. the back of the hood scoop was exactly the same and fit right to it perfectly, so i figured it was the best place to go ![]()

careful with that thing if you track it. ROUSH FOCUS lost his on Cal Speedway doing about 130mph, pulled it clean off!

not a fan.
1 - if its gonna be an eyesore it better function 2 - it adds nothing to the lines of the car.

My exact thoughts.... Just looks like a big wind catcher to me... I like vents on sport compacts, leave the scoops to muscle cars IMO.

I had a scoop for a while. If I'd have had the boost to back it up, I probably would have kept it. It wasn't functional either. I used a Mustang II piece. The Roush looks much better.

Its smart mate, I like it.... Glad to hear you got everything else repaired, although I bet the Dogs owner thought otherwise!
