Default Smooth Side Skirts

I'm possibly looking to get rid of my Kaminari side skirts for some more simple/cleaner/less agressive ones. I really like the ones on this car and I think it is the F2? I PMed him, but didn't get a response so I'll just ask my questions here.

1) Why doesn't F2 list JUST the side skirts for sale on their website? Are you able to purchase just the skirts and if so does anyone know how much a pair run?

2) How is the fitment of them? Are there gaps or any problems you guys ran into while installing them?

The ones on this car:

Or who makes these Euro side skirts??

The first skirts pictured are indeed the Roush side skirts and the second ones appear to be R/S Collection side skirts

It's all good man.

Thanks for the replies guys. Where is the best place to buy them from? I found them on Andy's Autosport for $184 each, but I have heard some bad things about that place.

I actually like the side skirts on that Euro focus a little better, but I don't really want to put $500+ in some side skirts (shipping from Europe KILLS...I know this). Anyone in the US sell them???

If you find a place in the US that sells R/S Collection parts for a reasonable price, PLEASE let me know

And a lot of people (Brent included) jumped on buying Roush parts when their eBay store sold a BUNCH of parts at insanely cheap prices. I'm still mad that I didn't jump on a rear bumper

North Coast Performance has the Roush skirts on clearance, $100.00 a pair.

Thanks for the replies guys! 2 more questions:

1) How well do the Roush side skirts fit

2) BAT sells "RS side skirts" are these different then what is on that silver Euro Focus? It's hard to tell from the pic on their website.

Roush fitment was perfect on the three local MN cars that have the skirts.

I don't think those skirts on the silver car are R/S Collection.

They appear to be a ICC Tuning I think...I'll double check, but they look different then the R/S collections.

BTW...anymore pics of the silver one? Please PM me!!

The Euro car you have pictured is sporting ICC Tuning RS replica sides

I would trade you my RS Replica sides straight up for the Kiminari sides. We're even the right color to swap. I'm not a big fan of how they flow with the rest of my car. Only problem is I'm up in Canada and I know I'll be raped in the ass for shipping.

ICC Tuning?

Honestly I have no idea where you'd get them through, these have been on this car for years. The original owner bought them, I think though ZX3Tuning.com, but I'm not sure about that even.

Thanks for the info man and I have always LOVED your focus! I'd like to do the trade, but I'm afraid of shipping to Canada. I shipped a valve cover up there last year and had to go through some added charges and red tape and that was for a fairly small item. Thanks for the offer and posting more pics of how they look.

Right now the Roush skirts look most appealing to me....the costs helps. Damn the Euro guys and all their nice looking body kits!!

When are you thinking of picking up the skirts and getting them painted? I might have a set for sale near the end of summer and fall...

By the end of July I would like to have a set of new side skirts in my possession.

Well, I think I decided on the Roush side skirts. They seem to be the cleanest and still make the car look low (the reason I was not considering SVT sides). I really hope you guys are right on how well they fit. Fitment is VERY important to me. I didn't like the part of the Wings West sides that went up on the car and Euro sides I just can't afford. Time to take advantage of that $100 a pair deal!

Thanks for all the input guys!!

My roush skirts fit perfect. I prefitted and installed them myself. It was pretty easy. If you don't install them, just make sure you take them to a good shop to be installed and painted.

can anyone get some pictures of their side skirts? i mean the roush ones, and being $100, and needing new ones ... i cant think of a better deal .. but the only decent picture i can find is of the yellow focus w/roush package and its TINY. after reading this thread i kinda wanna get them now.

...would you consider these "low key" as far as body mods?

No Roush skirts are not low-key. In order for the Roush skirts to look right, you'll need a aftermarket front and rear bumper...

shot of my Roush skirts...

I don't think the SVT bumper would match up with the Roush skirts. The skirts will sit lower then the front bumper.
