grill signal delete

hey, i was weondering if there was a how-to to delete the grill signal? and not have the ricer hyper blink going on? i have a true euro bumper, and a euro grill, so i want to just be using the bumper lights for turn sigs. any help? thanks.

Pull the middle wire out of the wiring harness for them

... at the harness that holds the bulbs? i want to completely delete the bulb, and not have the ricer flash on any of my other turn sigs. and i want to keep the harness intact incase i get euro lights that have turn sigs in the lights.

Instead of pulling the center wire out of the harness, pull the plastic tubing back and cut it about 3 inches from the harness you have room to slice it back together in the future. This will stop them from running all the time if you wanted to take that route...

As far as avoiding hyper blink, the easiest solution would be to get a set of medicine viles from a pharmacy and spraypaint them black and put them over the bulbs, then tuck the bulbs down and away. You wont even know they're there and the light will be gone when you signal... Sounds half ass but it won't be permanent and it'll work. Or just paint a set of bulbs black with a few coats of high temp paint...

Or just get headlights like Machs or ST170s that have turn signals inside the headlight... I'm a welder not an electrician so I'm not sure if you could simply wire resisters in to fake the system into thinking there is a bulb there or not...

see im thinking if i could find the right spec resistor, i could put it in place of the bulb, by breaking open a bulb and sodering in the resistor where the filament is, wrap em up in electrical tape, so no wires touch, and zip-tie them down and out of the way, does anyone know what size resistors id have to use?

If I understand correctly, you have a '98 style Euro front bumper with the signals imbedded right? Simply wiring those up would prevent hyper-blink would it not?

The problem he is running into is trying to get rid of the signals in the grill and only use the ones in the bumper. I don't think you could wire both to the same signal because they alternate, it would probably short something out. I dont know what size the bulb the bumper lenses are, or if they'd work with the current of the front grill signals without burning out.

i have the signals in the bumper hooked up, but i want to get rid of the ones in the grill. i believe they are the same bulb/etc. as the na spec.
