Your really not gonna find a exact graph showing the difference. Everyone has their own idea of how to lay down Niteshades. So each coat is different per user.

All I can offer is this pic...my wagon with niteshaded tails. It has 2 light coats of niteshade...

2 light coats plus 2 coats clear. I faded them so that they are darker on the edges. 20 years as a graffiti artist has given me mad can control skillz.

I prefer the teilight covers as they always have a gloss to them, and fit really well. And there is no fear of messing them up.

I had the taillights covers on my hatch for awhile until one blew off on the highway and got ran over. IMo they are too dark. And if you use a glossy clear when niteshading, you can get a glossy finesh too...

Heres another pic...-2-3 lite coats of niteshade...I have yet to polish and clear them...

Vs. the AVS Covers from 06'

i'll have to try either the niteshade or the covers, i try some static cling window tint and i liked how it looked on the car , i just couldn't get the air bubbles out. so i gave up on that
