Thanks. The hood is holding up great. I need to get some of those aerocatch hood pins, though.

Any advice would be much appreciated for this nube.
That would be correct. Make sure to buy that kit from Tousley, it's like $100 cheaper

I'm going to be doing the same thing on my 08 sedan except with h&r race springs most likely.

Bad news. Drove through a puddle that became much bigger when a matco tool truck splashed a big wave of water right on the front of my car. It went into my intake and caused hydrlock. F$%KKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!! My insurance said they would fix it. Ford says they dont fix hydrolock. If it does get fixed, I have decided to trade it in for the new 2010 Hyundai Genesis RWD with the 4 cylinder turbo. This car is amazing. Gonna miss my focus though. : (

Holy ****!!! That sucks real bad. I've never heard of anyone actually getting hydrolock. I figure that must be hard to do considering the intake is on the driver side, and most puddles are on the right side of the lane. Seems like you're getting a new engine then. Sorry to hear you will be getting rid of the focus though

Have fun with the Genesis. That motor is super burly. 350+ whp won't be much of a problem once you get the fundage.
