I have done a ton of looking but cant seem to find what I am looking for. I should have asked at the recent car show I went to, but just completely forgot.
I am having some work done to the car and I no longer want to run the front plate mounting plate. I saw some nice hinged chrome/gunmetal mounts for licence plates. They werent custom, but gave a nice clean look, and allowed for the plate to be removed during a show. Has anyone seen these or know where to get them? Second, what is the best material to use to fill screw holes in polyurethane bumpers? I am also shaving some things, and need to fill a larger area too. When I send the bumper out to get painted, I dont want it to ever crack around the filled areas with temperature contractions or flexing. --Thanks.

Any interest in a plate flipper a la James Bond - Aston Martin style?

No nothing like that. They were small L brackets. If no one here knows what I am talking about, I guess I will just have to make something.

That was completely a joke! You can certainly find some bracketry to make it happen. I just didn't get a feel for where you were going to be mounting this bracket and which way you'd have it pivoting.

The pivoting was to allow for contours of the body to get the plate flat. Like I said I saw a few at a car show. I just want the plate mounted in the front like it was. I was thinking in front of the lower grill, but it may end up just being a plate on the front windshield, though I really hate that look. Too cheap/ricey for my tastes.

Thats interesting. Not what I am looking for though. I will have to make something up or wait till I go to another show and ask around.
