Default rear disk brake conversion

hello, anyone where can i find a rear disk brake conversion kit for my zx3 ( non svt). I have wanted to get rid of my rear drums for a while now. I am looking for a conversion kit that will not break the bank, and how long would install take if i found one for cheap.

I've got them in stock, I believe it's $429.00 for the complete kit.

If your fairly mechanically inclined you should be able to do it in a day quite easily barring any issues with stuck or broken hardware.

Yeah replacing your rear brakes is fairly simple. A bit time consuming but simple. I would give your self a half day just to be on the safe side. Should beable to complete it really in a couple hours.

Not on this kit they don't

They list it on their site for $479.00 plus shipping.

I have it in stock and ready to ship for $429.00 plus shipping.

Just guessing without a ZIP code, $40.00-$50.00 or so.

Not quite following your post, if you have part numbers of the parts in question I can tell you what they are.

The issue is that by adding the SVT rear discs to a 2000-2004 car you end up with rear brakes that are larger than your fronts which could cause the rear brakes to lock before the fronts which will unsettle the car.

Theres a lot of people running them that way though so just ask around foor first hand experiences.

You can always use a brake proportioning valve to solve the issue. Through trial and error adjust the brake pressure more and more to the front until you feel the fronts braking as hard or slightly harder than the rears.

Or you can just replace your brakes all at once?

Kind of what I thought,

The 2B384's are rear ABS tone rings so if you don't have ABS you wouldn't need them.

The W700672-S437's are front caliper bracket mounting bolts.

That should clear things up I think.

From what I understand the FRPP SVT rear kit will work with minor tweaking and I "think" the fronts will work as well.

I know FW Werks is running SVT rears on their '08-'09 projects.

Ok thanks, No ABS on my foci so what your telling me is i can just toss these parts sweet or i could use them as spare parts if i do change to abs.
