Default 05-07 rear bumper question

Hey everyone. Noob here, but I did search, maybe for the wrong thing but I can't seem to find what the rear bumper add ons are called (outer corners), see pic.

If someone could tell me who makes them, where to get them, etc, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

I don't think that bumper has any addons, it just comes like that. That picture is a Focus ST stock bumper without the appearance package.

He means the stone guards that fit in the corners of the bumper as part of the ST original appearance package and part of a kit you could get on the SES.

Except there are no mudflaps installed on the ST in that picture, so I'm thinking that he means the red areas on the sides of the black diffuser in the center. If that's the case, as already said, that's not an add-on and is rather just a standard ST rear bumper.

No, ST bumpers have stone guards installed on the corners you can remove them any time you want. On the SES you can get the ST body Kit or something that it was callled which adds the stone guards to the back bumper. THEY'RE NOT MUDFLAPS, hes talking about the bottom part which are the sides/corners which bulge out more than rest of the bumper. These parts are called "Stone Guards".

Most people don't even know they're detachable. With a flat head screw driver I can take mine off and it would look like I have a normal Focus bumper with a couple holes in it.

Bingo, you nailed what I am after, thanks. Priced them at Ford today, not too to bad, 100 bux a corner, a lot more affordable than a SAP rear bumper. Looked for them online & have had no luck finding them anywhere.

Faster_than_u - Regina is great, find me some local EAP rims for sale, haha.

Post a picture of these "stone guards" that only you seem to know about then, Birdman

He was asking about these, Ford calls them Stone Guards which was part of the ST body kit and part of the "Sport Look" Package you could get for the SE and SES. They're removable at any time.

I think that's what it cost to have my passenger side replaced after my second rear ending, but then again it had some previous damage from a hit and run Leaving me with now only the drivers side stone guard, and tail lamp as the real original things left minus the decklid and spoiler on the back of my Focus.

Ah, thanks for clearing that up, Birdman. I had thought that was 'stock' because every ST I've seen (except Street Appearance) seemed to have these stone guards included. Learned something new today.

Standard on ST, optional package on SES and SE.

Hmm, I've always just figured that that was part of the design of those bumpers and that was just a contour line. I apologize for doubting you earlier on that one, Birdman

Chizel, try contacting Steve at Tousley Ford. They're located near Minneapolis and are listed on the FocalJet sponsor forum. There are a lot of times when their prices are so much better than local dealerships you might still come out ahead even after shipping and US dollar conversion.

I thought it was just part of the bumper too till my first rear ending accident and I learned they were detachable. The body shop had to replace one and it showed on the parts list as Stone Guards. I called up Ford and asked they said that's what they're called.
