Default assistance required

i'm a new member here and have a few questions...i have a 2000 zts sedan with 149000 miles on it...this is a daily driver (about 450 miles per week)...the mods that i've made so far...hella bright white headlights, kyb gas struts, ate pads and slotted rotors, piaa silicone wipers, winterforce tires, amsoil oil (25,000 mi drain), new amsoil high performance brake fluid. the parts that i want to use will require longevity rather than just being pretty..my background is in semi-pro road rallies, solo 2 and ice racing...my budget is limited in what i can spend so everything is by budget only...i'm a member of ff and have a hard time deciding what parts i should buy because there's so much controversy in their threads, what may work for one may not work for another...your thread on the short shifter was very informative, but when i went to cfm web site, there was no mention that it could be used on a 2.0 zetec...any help you can give will be greatly appreciated

hey spiceman, welcome to FJ

You're going to get more responses in the Zetec Tuning Forum. This one is the wrong location, and doesn't get that much attention. That said, there's a lot of short shifter offerings for the various model year foci. 00-02.5 is a different design than 02.5-up for the zetec, so keep that in mind when you're looking for the shifter. CFM makes an adjustable shifter for the 00-02.5 Zetec Focus. 02.5 and up require a non-adjustable due to their cable attachment design.

Check out our sponsors on the main page, www.focaljet.com on the left side... they have what you're looking for!
