Hey man, it's all relative...considering I can walk 45 feet and see multiple badass Foci in my garage, or drive 30 minutes and be at a beach...Santa Barbara is a long way to see those two things

But hey, with 100 Foci expected...count me in!

Damn, you never would have made it in the mini truckin' days. The closest truck run was 2.5 hours away, but the most fun ones were 5 hours away! (Parker, AZ - woot!).

Nothing like getting to your destination at 4am, parking in the line to get in, and cracking open a case of MGD

Woohoo... I am glad it's far enough away (timewise) that I can start working for time off.

And Kris, MGD is soooooo pedestrian. I would expect at least Fat Tire.

Also, should I bring more Polygamy with me?

I don't think Fat Tire existed back in the minitruckin' era.

....or many other microbrews for that matter!

Not that I can talk, I've only been of drinking age for eight years.

There were microbrews, but not at the price that we could afford

It was a couple suitcases of MGD in each truck... some of which would end up in our trusty beer bong made from a Sparklett's bottle named Zeus (usually reserved for Saturday night's goings-on)

Then we had a 50-gallon food-grade industrial plastic drum for Jungle Juice (we even had it airbrushed) and we'd all bring a gallon of booze and a gallon of juice for that puppy.

So stoked and so going. Counting down the days. We won't have an orange SVT this trip, but we will have a red one. And this time I won't be a waddling pregnant woman bugging Todd to use his bathroom in his rented RV eleventy billion times. (JF2)

Norcal caravan anyone?

The offer for pre-FOTB NorCal Stay 1/2Way at The Albrechts' place still stands.

man, this will be the first FOTB that i'll miss in 3 years. Well...2 FOTB's and 1 Focus in the woods or whatever the hell that was.

It's quite a drive from PA...plus I don't have my Focus anymore.

I don't think my POS car would make it out there.

What I meant was that it's a long way to take my non-focus for a FOTB...although I did take it to Mexi-Meat-Fest 07

I'm always down for FOTB and definitely down for Surf. Last time it was in SB it was flat where we were. Ventura wasn't bad but wasn't the greatest.

Count me in for FOTB and count me in for getting in the water.
