FOTB Welcomes: NASA - Focaljet

Continuing a tradition that started in 2006, Focus On The Beach heads from the sea to the desert to stretch the legs and feel the wind in our hair at the world-famous Willow Springs International Raceway.

Join FOTB and NASA on Sunday, August 10 for a special day of lapping, racing (for licensed drivers) and a very special All Ford Focus Only parade lap session. ALL FOTB registered attendees will be able to take their Focus onto the track at Willow Springs and tear through the corners! This is a great opportunity for someone to experience a racetrack in a safe and controlled environment! (Please note, at no time will drivers be permitted during the parade lap session to exceed 50mph).

In addition, NASA has donated several complimentary HPDE registrations to be used at a future date, which will be raffled off at the event on Saturday!

You don't have to purchase the HPDE track sessions to do the 'parade'?

When during the day will this be taking place?

No, the parade laps don't require any NASA purchase. They usually occur during the lunch time break.

I've done parade laps at Big Willow before. 50 mph feels like legal parking lot speeds on that track, but it really is awesome. I had the A/C on full blast but we had to keep the windows down

Well, we might be rolling out to Willow then. I don't think we were planning on it, but I would like to drive Big Willow in my weak sauce SVT.
