ATTENTION: Aug 10 Track Day Cancelled - Focaljet

I just wanted to make it aware, so everyone has as much notice as possible. Due to circumstances beyond our control... several sources are indicating that NASA has cancelled their track activities for the weekend of August 9 and 10. Therefore there will not be any FOTB events that will be happening at Willow Springs that weekend.

I'll be talking with the FOTB leadership today/this evening and we'll discuss options for Sunday, and as soon as we have something, we'll be sure to announce it here.

Anyone who has signed up for the HPDE or Spec Focus racing, please contact NASA for refunds.

We apologize for the trouble.

I'm pretty disappointed right now. I really wanted to drive Willow Springs.

Kinda bummed because I wanted to do the parade thingy, but kinda psyched that I don't have to drive way the F out there and endure the 7th level of Hell heat then the long trek back home.

I'm sure no one will have any trouble getting refunds or future track days due to all this. I'm sure NASA has a good reason and they wouldn't stiff anyone.

It's too bad it was cancel. I wonder what's going to happen with the Enduro.

Well, I guess I don't have to worry about bringing a helmet as carry-on now. Although it might make for an interesting flight to wear it for the entire trip.
