Reflections of FOTB '08 - Focaljet

Well, the event has come and gone, but the memories that I have will last a lifetime. A wonderful turn out....great food....great time. My compliments to all the sponsors, especially Focus Sport, for the flawless event. On a somewhat humorous side note, we got a late start for the going home cruise, but got on the route, only to find out that my wife, Bonnie, had me going towards SF instead of LA. The 2 hr jaunt back past Goleta then back to SB 101 was uneventful anyways! I was there for the inaugural FOTB in '01 which was held at Huntington State Beach. The wind was blowing about 40-50 mph that day and we had 3 tuner cars present that day...the LA County Sheriff's focus on a trailer, FS's entry and one by Focus Central. We had a photo shoot and cruise down PCH. This one was so much more. The sponsors, the Foci, the people, the event were just perfect. My thanks to all who attended. I'll never forget it. Can't wait until next year!! -Cliff
