The organizer and lead sponsor of FOTB are both located in Socal, so that is pretty much why it's always here in Cali. Not sure what you had in mind, the beaches of Houston?

There have been some discussions while at SEMA. Todd will have to make some kind of official statement when the time is right, though.

Save Jetfest (if/when that will ever happen again ) for the east coast and FOTB for the west. All you Califonians have all of the focus fun. Spread the love.

hehe, there is a MI/Greatlakes event being planned currently for next fall. shhhhhh don't tell anyone.

Once we get a site locked in, then we will be making a bigger announcement

I've made efforts at an east coast event. But when the venues that are appropriate and suitable tell me "Yeah, but we're not interested in dealing with you.... we have too many car shows here already anyway...." it kinda puts a major damper on things.

Seriously, east coast, I got love for you. But you gotsta find me a place that'll play.

But yes, Randy, Ron and I had some serious discussions this last week.

It was my understanding that FOTB was never meant to be a mobile event. It started in So Cal and is meant to stay there.

JetFest is supposed to move around so hope for that.
Personally I would love to see an event a little closer to home after driving out to JF at Cal speedway, but I don't expect FOTB to move nor do I think it should.

were not trying to move focus on the beach... or at least that wasnt my intention we were just trying to start something new with inspiration from FOTB so it's not like were tryin to do focus on the beach in colorado that wouldnt make sense... we're all just tryin to stick together... you know chill and kick it for a shared interest in our beloved Foci...
