2009 - The Ford Focus Forum

Its with a heavy heart, and a lot of sadness that I tell you that there will not be a formal Focus On The Beach for 2009. As everyone is certainly aware, the economic downturn has impacted everyone and we don't believe that we could provide you with the event that you've come to expect from FOTB.

We will, however, coordinate an "Anti-FOTB" as we did in 2007. Look for a date and location to be announced soon (but Morro Bay is always a favorite for those... and we love August!)

I will also let you guys know, that we are always committed to doing only the biggest and best events that we can. And that there may be other events that we may host around the country this year as a gathering of some sort. They'll be small, and probably informal... but we'll always have the car we love there!

Sad to hear, but I can understand why. Hopefully we can make the anti-FOTB just as fun.

Hi Todd,

Thank you for the notice.. it is sad that there will not be an FOTB 09.. How soon could we find out if there are any other FJ related events that we can attend? I really want to go to an even.

It will be sad that there is no FOTB for 09....but I can tell you from the Anti-FOTB in 07 that it was epic. I am looking forward to it. Jen and I will be sure to reserve campsites right next to eachother so we can party like we did in 07.
