They just had Mustang week at Myrtle Beach....Soooooo what if us East Coast guy's & Gal's had either a "Focus on Myrtle Beach" or "Focus on Carolina Coast" ??? Hmmmmmm???

Hmmm no one?? There used to be a huge show in the summer called ECN.."East Coast Nationals" it was held at Richmond Int. Raceway. I remember close to 5000 turning out for that show. Great spot for a Focus Fest!!!

What about doing one at VA Beach? I'd definitely be down for that. Have some Focus cruisers in the foreground and Navy cruisers in the background.

I'd be down for VA Beach, you do know we did Focus Rising this year centered around Carlisle Ford Nationals, FocusSport aka FSWERKS even sponsored the event this past year

Next year's is set for June 4th-6th

doing somethig at afn is cool and all but why not something all about the focus nothing else just focus a fotb for us on the ec i mean 3000 miles is a long haul for one weekend and then there's gas and hotel and food that's expensive we need somthing on this coast say ocean city or va beach, hell myrtel would even work but just keep it on the east coast i'd even be willing to set up and what not on my dime to see it happen

I can take a look at hotels....

Maybe we could set up a sing-up list, so that people could just sign up to go, pay the money, and be all set. Maybe set up a PayPal

Haha I'm all about either Myrtle Beach or Virginia Beach. I'm sure if we post this idea in our respective regional forums, we can get people interested. I'll even work publicity/advertising for this.

List of our FJ sponsors located on the East coast:
Steeda
CFM
LC Racing
HTPerformance
Top Speed Performance

^^We'll need someone to hit these guys up about event sponsorship.

I know we'll have to work out logistics for a location, permit, and insurance.

Before any of this though, we need to gauge interest and work up some hype around this. We're not gonna get any type of sponsorship without a good bit of anticipation around this. If we can get a large percentage of the community from in between at least the middle of the country and the east coast, we'll be pretty well set. Not to mention if we can get a large turnout, we can most likely get some hardcore peeps from further west to show up.

If we're gonna do something, we do have to start working on it now. I feel that some people around here are concerned that we don't have the ability to hang with the rest of the tuner world anymore. Dude I am 310 and I am sure we can find a generator for ya lol shoot its the east coast baby everybodies got at least two of em ready for hurricane season. And big tents are easy to get!
