This is great news!

Is this a private rental, so no other cars will be there? Sounds like lots of track time.

Any specifics on the mods for the handicap system?

Ok I expect some major smak talking.

Airforcefocus is convinced that he can blow the eastern clan away without spinning his laite-grande in his pastel colored commuter mug

Hope he doesn’t make MichaelXi mad, the boy can drive the wheels of his car, and you can’t count out the old man.

The only competition we're used to at track days here on the east coast is: Who can change front rotors/pads the fastest, Who brings the most tires to the track, Who has the dirtiest car & Who can get the most drunkeded Friday night.

maybe this time I'll bring a sleeping bag, and a tent...yea, that would be good. But then I can't blame my crappy driving on my sore back from sleeping in the back seat, in the cold. hrmmm...tis a quandry!

BadIdea,

This will not be a Focus exclusive weekend. In order to pull that off we would need about 30-40 Foci there and we would be forced to charge double what our initial per car estimate would be. We do expect to have anywhere from 60-80 cars show up, and we may be hosting other "challenge" events that weekend.

The event would be just like our other Open Track days where we have hosted a Challenge series. Hot Lapping sessions in the morning for all groups, a Challenge ONly Session around lunch time, and then more hot lapping to end the day. When all is said and done you should have no less than 2 hours of track time not counting the Focus Challenge timed session.

I will try to make a run at it. My only possible advantage is that I have been to Beaverun around 8-10 times and since I live about 45 minutes away, I can sleep in warm comfort. Speaking of which, if anyone wants to crash at my place [Either an apartment in Monroeville, PA or a house in Stowe, PA {If Jenni and I buy it}] you are more than welcome, just let me know.
